HP P1005 Review

HP P1005

The other day I was out shopping for a printer, and I ended up getting the HP P1005. I’ve always had good luck with HP products, so I figured an HP P1005 would be just what the doctor ordered. I haven’t had a printer in a while, but I’ve recently taken up some hobbies which required the purchase of an HP P1005.

Of course, it didn’t really necessitate the purchase of an HP P1005 specifically. When I set out to buy a printer, I didn’t really know that the HP P1005 existed. I figured any old printer would do. I just needed to print some color photos, and I would be printing them at a pretty fast clip, so that’s what I knew I needed when I went shopping.

The sales lady was pretty helpful. She asked me exactly how often I would print, what my budget was, and if I needed to do other things like faxing and scanning. I have a scanner, so I didn’t need one of those, and I didn’t think I would ever need to fax anything. That’s when she showed me the HP P1005.

Based on my estimated usage, she said the HP P1005 would be the most economical. There are plenty of cheap ways to buy both HP P1005 toner and HP P1005 cartridge, so I would never be in any kind of cartridge or toner shortage. There’s also plenty of copycat brands that make toner that is compatible with the HP P1005 toner and a cartridge that is compatible with the HP P1005 cartridge.

Of course, I didn’t really know how long these cartridges and toners would last, but she assured me that he HP P1005 would be the best printer for what I needed to do. I can’t go into much detail, because there are still some copyright issues that I’m dealing with, but when I gave her a rough sketch of my printing plans, it was clear to her that the HP P1005 would be perfect for what I needed.

Another thing that was fantastic was the price. I don’t know if you’ve been shopping for printers lately, but the prices have really come down. I was absolutely flabbergasted when I found out exactly how much the HP P1005 would be. Of course, it wasn’t free, but it was much cheaper than I’d expected.

And setting the thing up was a snap. Of course, the HP P1005 comes with all the drivers you need, but if you are running windows, then you don’t even need them. You pretty much just plug it in, and you can start printing.

I recommend the HP P1005 to anybody who needs a printer.
